Here’s an alternate method to boiling eggs on the stovetop. These air-fried eggs are just as easy and super quick!
TAKES: 25 MIN. + CHILLING
MAKES: 6 SERVINGS
- 6 large eggs
Preheat air fryer to 275°. Place eggs in a single layer on tray in air fryer basket. Cook 15 minutes. Remove eggs; rinse in cold water and place in ice water until completely cooled. Drain and refrigerate. Remove shells; if desired, cut eggs before serving.
1 egg: 72 cal., 5g fat (2g sat. fat), 186mg chol., 71mg sod., 0 carb. (0 sugars, 0 fiber), 6g pro. Diabetic exchanges: 1 medium-fat meat.
KITCHEN TIP: Older eggs are best for hard-boiling. Eggs that are close to their best-by date will peel much easier than fresh eggs. It’s also best to remove your eggs from the fridge at least 30 minutes before you plan to cook them. This will help them cook evenly and prevent the shell from cracking.
