Serves 12
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons salted butter, divided
- ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tablespoon whole milk
1. Preheat air fryer to 320°F. Spray an 8" × 8" baking pan with cooking spray.
2. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips and ¼ cup butter by microwaving in 30-second increments, stirring between each cook time until mixture is smooth, about 1 minute.
3. Add brown sugar, molasses, and vanilla to white chocolate mixture and stir.
4. Add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and flour, stirring until well combined.
5. Stir in eggs until just combined, then place mixture in prepared pan.
6. Place pan into air fryer basket. Bake 15 minutes or until edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool 1 hour.
7. To make the frosting, use a handheld electric mixer to whip cream cheese, remaining 2 tablespoons butter, and confectioners’ sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Add milk and stir. The frosting should spread easily but not be overly soft and runny. Spread frosting over top of bars, then slice and serve.
