These Apple Pie Bombs are made of a buttery pastry dough with a surprise center of tender diced apples. No one will be expecting the surprise center! Serve them with a scoop of ice cream, or with a glass of milk to help balance the sweetness.

Serves 8 (2 each)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 (16-ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1. Preheat air fryer to 325°F.
2. In a small bowl, add sugar and cinnamon. Mix until well combined. Place apples in a medium bowl and top with lemon juice and 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar mixture. Stir until evenly coated. Reserve remaining cinnamon sugar.
3. Open biscuit package and divide each biscuit into two pieces. Roll each piece into a circle about 5" wide. Scoop 1 tablespoon apples into the center of each biscuit piece. Press the edges of the biscuit around the apples until sealed.
4. Spray inside of air fryer with olive oil spray before each batch. Arrange pie bombs in air fryer, spaced ½" apart, seam side down. Air fry 14 minutes, flipping halfway through (you may need to work in batches).
5. Remove pie bombs from air fryer. Dip into melted butter and then roll in remaining cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve.
