Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet Recipe by Aileen Clark

These cookie skillets are very popular in restaurants, and for a good reason. They’re deliciously sweet! Good news: You can easily re-create this delicious dessert at home in your air fryer. You will need a 7" cake pan or pie plate and the basic ingredients for chocolate chip cookies.

Serves 4

  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup vanilla ice cream

1 Preheat air fryer to 320°F. Spray a 7" cake pan with olive oil spray and set aside.

2 Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. In a second large bowl, using an electric mixer on medium speed, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla. Make a well in dry ingredients and pour wet ingredients into the center. Mix with electric mixer, an additional 1 minute or until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

3. Pour cookie batter into prepared cake pan. Place cake pan inside air fryer and air fry 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

4. Remove from air fryer. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
