Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Wings Recipe

You can’t go wrong with air-fried chicken wings on game day or any time a craving calls. Our homemade spice rub has a nice kick from the cayenne seasoning.

  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. each ground mustard, ginger and nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. ground allspice
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 12 whole chicken wings (2 ½ lbs.)
  • Optional: Ranch salad dressing, Buffalo sauce or barbecue sauce

1. Preheat air fryer to 300°. In a large bowl, combine the garlic powder, garlic salt, mustard, ginger, nutmeg, pepper, allspice, baking soda and cayenne.

2. Cut chicken wings into 3 sections; discard wing tip sections. Add to bowl with spices and stir to coat. In batches, arrange wings in a single layer on greased tray in air-fryer basket. Cook 15 minutes. Increase temperature to 400°; cook until chicken juices run clear and wings are golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Repeat with remaining wings. Serve hot with salad dressing or sauce if desired.
