Air Fryer Parmesan Asparagus Recipe by Aileen Clark

Asparagus cooks quickly in the air fryer, making it an easy side dish to whip up at the last minute. It’s a healthy and crispy side that tastes great when paired with seafood or beef. Feel free to add additional Parmesan cheese to the asparagus once served. If you want to add a little something extra, serve with ranch dressing as a dipping sauce!

Serves 4

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.

2. In a large bowl, toss asparagus with olive oil, garlic salt, and pepper. Arrange inside air fryer, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

3. Air fry 8 minutes or until fork-tender.

4. Remove from air fryer and serve immediately.


This recipe was written for asparagus that’s thicker, about ½" thick. If you are cooking thinner asparagus, then cut the cook time down to 6 minutes and monitor it as it cooks.
